Over Mij

I am a young dynamic, proactive and creative person of 26 years who is passionate about human rights, sustainable development, youth development and women's empowerment.
i am a fresh graduate of the University of Cape Coast. I pursued a four year degree programme in Population and Family Life.
My vision is a world without poverty, diseases,and all the evils of this world. A world without anything like "Developed World" and "Developing World"
My mission in life or reason for existing is to develop my God-given talents to the fullest through a comprehensive and diversified education and training and influence my generation to see their problems as challenges and turn those challenges into opportunities and exploit those opportunities fully, create wealth for themselves and generations yet to come
I have over the past four years worked with various NGOs as a volunteer staff without salary just enable my realize this dream of my. Notable among them include Abusua Foundation www.abusuafoundation.org, where I have been part and parcel of the Abusua's success story from the beginning up to date. I worked as the Coordinator of youth and HIV/AIDS Programme of the Foundation. Desert Growth Foundation,www.desertgrowth.org which I went up North to the Upper East Region to help formed after graduation in May last year and have worked as its Executive Director of Programmes/Projects.And finally, Young People We Care www.ypwc.org, where I currently work as its Programmes Coordinator. I am also doing my national service with the Department of Geography and Tourism of the University of Cape Coast, where I work as a Teaching Assistant, helping teach Population related courses such Gender, Health and Development, Population Policy and National Development,Health Systems Research, Health Education, Adolescent Reproductive Health, Migration and Development, among others to students at all levels.
