Hey guys!!! my story begins when I was too young just 11 years of age and my father suddenly died due to kidney failure. It was really shocking for me and I lost all my father’s love and care. The major cause or the death cause discovered was the high rate of diabetes that ultimately affected the kidneys and at last my father gave up the ghost.
The sudden death of my father propelled me to initiate some health awareness campaign in my community and I was the pioneer of “Stop Diabetes”, a campaign aimed to raise awareness among the children about the harms and disadvantages of this disease. Here I want to take credit o this campaign as all the material was handwritten and developed by me and know how I managed my studies and work.
After completing my secondary education I took admission in Pakistan Air Force College in F Sc (Pre-Engineering) program and there I met some other dynamic youth leaders and then for few months we together worked for national Human Rights Commission in the child rights section. Then in 1997 we all decided to establish an independent youth organization and then Youth Alliance For Human Rights was founded. Currently I am serving Youth Alliance For Human Rights as the chairman.
A part from Youth Alliance For Human I am also involved with a number of international youth organizations. I’m working as the country coordinator for Youth Employment Summit Campaign in Pakistan and in a process to reduce youth unemployment from the country by starting some need based youth support programs in partnership with some other international donor organizations.
I am one of the founding members of Taking IT Global in Pakistan. Recently I also worked as Taking IT Global Youth Day International Coordinator to organize TIG Youth Day worldwide with the help and assistance of TIG staff at Toronto, Canada.
I am a part of International Youth Earth Charter Coalition (IYECC) and trying to promote earth charter in my community. Recently YouthActionNet recognized me as YouthActionNet ambassador and I also won YouthActionNet 2002 award for one of my projects.
I’ve masters in political science and theory after completing by bachelors in commerce studies. From my limited hobbies gardening is my favorite one. In sports I like cricket and basketball and love to swim too.
I firmly believe on the sentence that “every moment there is a chance” the thing is how you avail and bring into play the chance.
