Michael Adeyemo is an Arts Advocate for the Federation of Arts for the Youth of all Nations (Fayon Foundation), a non-governmental youth oriented organization using the arts and culture in leadership and development programmes. He is has been special assistant to the Vice -Predsident National Youth Council of Nigeria North Central Zone on Arts and Cultural Affairs and was the Head of the WorldBank Youth Forum 2005 Abuja, Nigeria. His work focuses on support for young entrepreneurial talent within Africa and globally in the creative fields. He was the national representative for the International Youth Art Exchange Program. He is a member of African Children Voices; African Youth Foundation Germany; Takingitglobal; NYIN Nigeria; Nepad Youth Business Initiative Nigeria; World Bank Youth Forum Nigeria and the Human Rights Information Network in Alliance with the British Council Nigeria. He has served on the Executive Boards of International Youth Leadership Stakeholders Forum, Nigeria, Uk, Ghana and USA as well as Youth Leadership Frontliners, UK and Hopehouse Youth empowerment initiative Nigeria. He has trained more than 5,000 young artists in more than 20 states of Nigeria. As a Youth Art Cooridnator he has worked for both General Action aginst Violation of Human and Cultural Rights Nigeria and the Leadership Development Organisation. He has also been a youth TV and radion Presenter and also featured as a guest on Youth and national shows. He has also been involved in many International Children Day of Broadcasting, Live Broadcast with over 20 Media Stations in Nigeria from 2004-2005. Currently he is working on a Youth media Show called "Art Parliament tagged - art as an instrument of chnaging and empowering youths. He holds a diploma in Leadership Management, he is a Professional graphic designer and has a diploma in computer management. Nominated for Awards such as the Youth Media Award 2004- Presented by Voice of Nigerian Youths; the Youth Media Award for Change 2003-presented by FAYON FOUNDATION and; the Best artist of the month of April 2006 - Presented by enjoy your future. He has hosted the National Youth Art Congress 2004 sponsored by Lagos state council for arts and culture and the 1st Youth Media and Creative summit in collaboration with voice of Nigerian Youth. He has also hosted the 1st Youth Leadership and capacity Building Workshop in collaboration with Youth leadership frontliners UK. Primary role: Senior Executive, Policy Maker, Co-ordinator, Artist, Researcher, Interests: Advocacy and professional groups, Globalisation, the arts and culture, Intellectual property and creativity, Professional and community arts, Cultural democracy and participation.
