Although relatively young, he has gained a considerable lot of experience working as a part-time Accounts Clerk in Israel Service Station and then as a Packaging Assistant at Grafitec Ltd. He is currently the Programmes Director of Passion for Students Foundation, a youth development group on the University of Ghana campus. He is also a Managing Partner of Techno-Image, a small business start-up which he manages with a friend. He had a brief stint working in the Sales/Marketing team of HFC bank in 2007.He also worked as a youth volunteer in the British Council-sponsored Community Sports and Artistic Trust Project (COSAT/CSP) which sought to educate young people on HIV/AIDS and address poverty through sports and entertainment. Edem has been a participant in several youth capacity building and skills training seminars such as the Maximum Benefit Conference, Achievers Conference and the Financial Excellence Summit among others. He has great interest in local and international politics and business issues. He is an ardent reader with special preference for courtroom novels, Harvard Business Review and African content magazines. Apart from reading he enjoys listening to radio, watching movies and traveling. He is confident, versatile, articulate, and excellently analytical and possesses good communicational skills. He is serious, assiduous and dedicated to duty yet humorous and always ready to have a good laugh. Edem believes he owes it as a civic responsibility to serve his generation and help as many other young people to achieve their dreams. In line with this belief, he is well on course in his vision to build a sustainable business to employ and help put every willing young Ghanaian through tertiary education.
