Anita currently manages the planning and delivery of judicial training and education programs, including international legal reform projects for judiciaries including China, Russia, Chile, Philippines and Ghana. She previously consulted for the Canadian Government to facilitate the advancement of Canadian culture through cultural policy development via knowledge mobilization and exchange. Anita continues to work in the development realm - co-founding and co-directing youth-run for youth non-profit organization - The 411 Initiative For Change. An advocate for social justice, she worked in the areas of sustainable development, international peace-building, human rights and gender equality; she worked in the non-profit environment for seven years, serving two managing development programmes in the Asia region with emphasis on Nepal, Sri Lanka and India, for a non-profit international development agency. Anita has contributed her perspectives on international affairs, governance, women and development, political and electoral participation and other public policy issues. Anita holds a Certificate in Public Administration from the University of Ottawa's School of Management.
