About Me

(the one in the far right) I was born and raised in the Philippines and moved to Canada at the age of 7. I'm currently in my 5th year in highschool though I've already graduated in 2004 and plan to get into Justice Studies field. Also I'm very interested in Social Sciences and Behavioural Studies. I'm basically very open-minded about everything, very easy to talk to and laid back. I'm always looking forward to interesting conversations. I'm not often serious unless I really need to be.

I really like travelling and seeing new places and historical/ archeological sites. I also like the arts (music, dance, dramatic). I've attended the IDEA world youth conference this year (july) in Ottawa to perform in a very multicultural play, "Old Turtle" which successfully advanced from the Provincials competition in the Sears Ontario Drama Festival. This play is very multicultural and focused on world religion and conflicts. I've been a member of my school Athletic Council for 3 years and was recently elected president for the year 2004/2005. We are responsible for fun activies and events during the school year to fundraise for the Athletics as well as the academics. I'm currently working on a school newsletter that offers alternative information based on events in the school as well as different issues that need to be heard. I also have attended leadership conferences for my school (Olympia) which I find are extremely fun and an awesome way of meeting new people that share your interests. I was a moderator for a fundraiser, called Lockdown. It is a 24 hour event full of activies for top pledgers ("survivor" parody). All the money was raised to build houses in Cameroon. I'm also an active member of GreenPeace as well as Save the Children. I wish to one day make a difference in the world... and believe that this is possible for everyone if they not only follow their dreams but also follow their heart.
