 About Me |
I was brought up in Nanyuki, a region with breathtaking panorama and Nyeri, a Central Kenya town. It is when I grew rather than where, that influenced my thinking. Like many other young people growing up in the 80s and 90s, when Kenya and indeed the world experienced a wind of change, inculcated in me, an enduring desire to change the world.
It is no wonder that when I joined the University, I led transformative initiative like: Model United Nations, a student simulation of the UN, supporting vulnerable groups through human rights club, among others.
After my graduation, I devoted my time and skills to support underprivileged groups like children with autism, the youth, women et al. I am currently a Communication Officer of an organisation that combats poverty and promotes sustainable development through grant making and strengthening of communities.
I am also passionate about Corporate Communications, branding and new media platforms like social media.
