 About Me |
I am a recent university graduate with two bachelor degrees - one in International Business and the other in Political Science. I worked part - time throughout the school year as a cook at a campus pub and as a treeplanter throughout canada in the summers. I was a member of the business Society in University as well as a member of the Political Science Students Association. I am a member of Amnesty International and have just recently been able to apply my time and energy to other things besides working and school. I moved out to BC to take Advantage of the outdoor recreation scene (I am a snowboarder and love to hike). I am planning on getting involved with organizations that do work over seas. If I am unable to capture anything within my field I plan to travel to South Korea and teach English. My overall passion is to see that global trade relations become fair so that income gaps between nations can fall. I feel that developed countries need to be cognisant of this and that individuals should practice enlightened consumer behavior and be aware of how your consumption affects the worlds population. In the long term i would like to be in positions where i can influence trade policies whether it be inside the Canadian or US Governments or through international organizations such as the UN, IMF, WTO or the World Bank.
