I have a unique combination of skills and experience. I have 20 years of experience as an educator in the elementary classroom, corporate world and teacher in-service training. I have designed computer-based training for financial consultants (stock brokers) at Merrill Lynch and has classroom experience in Kindergarten, Third, and Fourth grades. In addition to instructional design work, I regularly deliver instructor-led training. I have a certificate in adult education and have completed graduate coursework in Instructional Computing, Children's Literature, and Academic Research. My experience designing application training and state-of-the art multimedia help and training for in the financial services industry has proven my skills in synthesizing complex information and imparting it in practical learning modules. My designs of multimedia training have used real-world scenarios to teach both advanced financial concepts as well as computer basics. My management experience includes strategic planning, needs analysis, supervision, and project management. I have designed, organized, and facilitated focus groups with financial consultants from around the country. And I have designed and presented Train the Trainer sessions for the adult learner. Currently, I am co-owner and Director of Education Services for Infostructure. Infostructure designs and develops software for the schools. I am responsible for the user documentation and training for all of Infostructure’s proprietary applications. I also conducts end-user training workshops for proprietary systems and standard desktop applications. Infostructure also provides Instructional Design services and designs, develops, and presents instructor-led training. My projects have included: •Technology Trainer for Aligning Curriculum to Standards Through Differentiated Instruction and Understanding By Design for the Bucks County Intermediate Unit •Multimedia training delivered via Internet and CD-ROM for financial services industry •Electronic Performance Support System Design and Content Development – online help and training •Evaluation of Educational Software •User Interface Design •Training teachers as instructional designers of online courses •Review of online courses for public school educators I regularly present training on Microsoft Office applications and integrating technology into the curriculum. I also train users on proprietary software and create the documentation.
