About Me

Veronica Cretu is the President of the “CMB” Training Center, Chisinau. Mrs. Cretu has founded this NGO back in 2002 and has been successfully running it until now.
Mrs. Cretu holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Diplomacy and Information Technologies with DiploFoundation, Mediterranean Academy of Diplomatic Studies of Malta, Malta and her first degree is in English Philology, with the State Pedagogical University of Moldova. Along with the activities at the “CMB” Training Center in Moldova, Mrs. Cretu is currently involved in the Internet Governance Capacity Building Program with DiploFoundation (www.diplomacy.edu/ig). She has been acting as an online tutor and online research supervisor in this Program since early 2005.
Mrs. Cretu’s areas of expertise are: Project Management, Human Resources Management, Adult Education and Online Learning.
Mrs. Cretu’s current areas of interest are: The role of IT in Diplomacy, The Multi stakeholder partnerships in ICT for Development, Community Development, The Evolution and further development of the Internet and the Role of Internet Governance Forum, Ways of improving literacy and educational facilities as a means of reducing the digital divide and improving accessibly in the developing countries, Promoting Multilingualism and Cultural Diversity, Role of Teachers in Promoting Access to Knowledge in the Developing Countries.
