About me
Graduated from the department of Mass Communication, University of Nigeria, Nsukka. Currently undergoing my Masters Programme in Peace building and Development, University of Ibadan, Nigeria. I have flairs for educating and providing information for people who have little or no knowledge of their problem and this is why i have chosen to be in the AIDS communication area and gender discrimination area of HIV/AIDS and likewise love researching. I am a dynamic advocate on HIV/AIDS issues, focusing on Gender discrimination, climate change and HIV/AIDS, AIDS communication and sexual and reproductive health
I have been a member of GYCA for 2 years and i'm the National Focal Point (NFP) person for GYCA Nigeria. In this role, i oversee all GYCA related activities carried out in Nigeria.
She was part of the founding members of OUR RIGHTS, OUR LIFE, Youth Empowerment Initiative (OROL) in Abuja which is geared towards improving young people’s attitude in and out of school towards their sexual and reproductive health.
Also a member of Blood Drive Initiative (BDI) and African Youth Initiative on Climate Change (AYICC). She was part of youth delegations that represented her country, Nigeria at ICASA 2011 in Addis Abba where I advocated for a stigma free generation through drama presentations and talks. I was also the Project Coordinator, National Youth Service Corp Medical Community Development Group (2010-2011), where she organized and carried out community awareness projects on HIV/AIDS for youths and women.
I had developed my passion for advocacy at a very tender youthful age and i'm working towards taking an active role in changing my communities and the world at large with proper communication and information dissemination.
