Umejoh Vania Andoumbeni,is a young Cameroonian With a BScin Women and Gender Studies with Sociology and Anthropology(Double major.) I am interested in social issues especially issues relating to the Right of Women and persons with Disabilities.I like disusing on current global issues that can lead to sustainable development.Empowering women to be positive in life and to think big just like men and not to remain passive as the various cultures especially African culture wants them to be.As an advocate for the marginalized especially for women in my society, I am contributing to ensuring that women should realize that they are great agents of change so stakeholders should give women the opportunity to realize their potentials by granting them adequate access to needed resources. In addition am involved in self empowerment skills such as plaiting and producing jeweleries from environmental friendly materials that promote recycling.writing of articles is also an area of interest that i am to promote.some of the articles include:"Marriage ritual in Ngie;a marvelous thing to witness"and "Women's Access/control of Land in Ngie".
