About Me

He is the former coordinator of the Global University Network for Innovation's Observatory. He has a Degree in Computer Science, postgraduate studies in Software Engineering and has a Master's Degree in Design and Development of Interactive Multimedia Applications. He was involved in the implementation of the electronic voting system in Brazil, his home country, and has been working for a variety of non-profit organisations since 1995 and has been engaged in a number of interdisciplinary and intercultural projects in the field of international cooperation, human and social development and higher education...

He is currently enrolled in a doctoral programme at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC) and his thesis deals with the relationship between Higher Education and Human and Social Development (MDGs...), ICT and partnerships for development. In addition he has been taking part in various courses and post-graduate lectures about the relationship between the third sector, government and higher education institutions; fair trade; and international relations.
