About Me

I am hard working ,well motivated,persistent and sociable.I have a wide variety of skills including leadership,computing,debating and enjoy a range of activities such as youth projects,sports,music,acting,volunteer work for charitable organisations such as Swedish Save The Children,Human Rights Education Programme etc.

I am currently pursuing Masters degree in Economics.
During the last few years i have obtained a number of awards and won competitions.In 2005 i won British Idol Competition organised by The British Council Pakistan.My entry was selected from 450 entries from all over the country.

During 2001-2004 i took part in many competitions organised by British Council.
In 2000 i was given Talent and Achievements award by the Vice Consul of Ferderal Republic of Germany.

The same year i was also given Student of the Year award by the Managing Committee of my School.

I worked as a volunteer in the 5th International Conference orgainsed by the Science and Technology Development Forum UK and The University of Karachi Pakistan.

I was given Certificate for raising funds for the untried children in Pakistani Jails.This campaign was organised Swedish Save The Children and Human Rights Education Programme in 2000.

Won interclasses Cricket tournament in School.Also won Badminton championships and obtained Best Player Award in both sports in 1999.

I am currently working on Youth Business Project with Small and Medium Enterprise Development Agency(SMEDA),Shell and a number of Organisations based in the UK.

I am also in a process of establishing SAGE in Pakistan which is an American based youth Business and Entrepreneuship Orgainsation.

Attended Shell Tameer Entrepreneurship Workshop,obtained certificate for presentation at the workshop by the Minister of Women Affairs.

Interned with Standard Chartered Bank in Financial Institutions department.Assigned a research report on Microfinance,covering major Microfinance providers in Pakistan,India and Bangladesh.

Participated in a nation-wide contest "SHINE PRINCESS" organised by Pantene(Procter and Gamble Pakistan).Selected in top 10 from Karachi.

Working as i-genius Ambassador Of Pakistan.
