 About Me |
My name is Lena Anastasiades and I am 17 and a student at the English School in Nicosia, Cyprus. I speak three languages and also work as an intern doing research at the Center for World Dialogue in Cyprus. Representing my school and country, I went to the Millennium Young People’s Congress Hawaii 1999 and the International World Debating and Public Speaking Championship Cyprus 2000. Earlier this year I won a scholarship to attend the second Global Knowledge Conference in Kuala Lumpur. When I am not behind the computer or doing schoolwork or networking with young people, I train athletically for Pentathlon and have competed at the district and national level. I am currently the Cyprus team lead for TakingITGlobal and we are all working hard to make it happen!
