 About Me |
My name is Daphne Anastasiades, I am 16 years old and a student at the English School. I have taken part in many events during my years at the school including participating in the Pan Nicosia games for Discus and Shot Put and in the Pan Cypriot games for Volleyball on the school team. I am working hard to be a part of the Model United Nations, which is taking place in January 2001, in The Hague. I also hope to be a part of the World Scholar-Athlete games, which takes place in Rhode Island, USA, 2001. I enjoy Chemistry the most in school and I hope to be part of our school Debating society this year. I speak two languages, English and Greek, and I hope to learn Spanish more fluently this year. After living for 10 years of my life in the states, I have been exposed to two very different cultures of which I have come to love equally. I am currently the organizer of TakingITGlobal in Cyprus, and we are all working very hard to make it happen!
