About Me |
UnyimeAbasi is passionate about youth development. UnyimeAbasi is a staunch Youth Activist; strategist, youth developer, change-maker and mentor. He has vast experience on youth mobilization; a strategist on youth-led projects’ initialization, co-ordination & implementation.
Having being trained on the concept of MDGs and Youth; human rights and youths, youth employability, Enhancing Entrepreneurial Productivity for Growth and Sustainability, Transparency and Accountability for Community Based Organizations (CBOs); UnyimeAbasi has worked on integration of Information Technology for youth development, which consequently led to his being awarded Ambassador for Internet Safety, Security and Privacy by Microsoft.
He has been a contributor to several international forums including the Global Fund. He currently serves as a Virtual Volunteer to TIG (TakingITglobal.org).
UnyimeAbasi is currently also spearheading the following projects in Nigeria:
1. Go Green
www.greeneology.blogspot.com and;
2. Students Millennium Development Goals Campaign
www.mdgscampaign.blogspot.com
UnyimeAbasi is inspired to action by the impetus and tenacity of youths globally creating positive impacts and building solutions.
I strongly believe that as effort-pushing minds come together and build ideas locally, nationally, & globally, we would at a point achieve an atmosphere of equality (per say) of life (which is no.1), sustainable environment and economy, social and educational balance.
In-country experience exerts the challenge for global innovation and change.
Now, its time to move on!
