About Me

Jesse founded United Leaders in 1999 to combat his generation’s growing cynicism towards politics and to create a proactive approach to inspire young people to seek honorable careers in political service. Jesse graduated in the spring of 2002 from Tufts University, where he majored in political science with a minor in mass communications/media studies. Jesse became active in national politics as an early supporter of Arizona Senator John McCain’s bid for the presidency. He helped to plan and implement the national youth campaign that was based on college campuses across the country. He also spent significant time campaigning alongside the Senator in New Hampshire. At Tufts, Jesse served in the student senate, where he was a member of the Executive Board and a student representative to the Board of Trustees for two years. He was also involved in several Shakespearian productions, and produced and hosted his own television show. Jesse hails from San Francisco, California where he attended Lowell High School. While there, he served as both Student Body President and Class President. He also was elected Governor of California through the Junior Statesmen of America. During this tenure, he received the Principal’s leadership award and the San Francisco City Club Board of Governors Leadership Award. Jesse was named to the All USA Today Academic Team. He was recently honored with the Class of 1882 Academic Award and was given the Montle Prize for Entrepreneurial Leadership by Tufts University. Jesse also enjoys running and recently completed the Boston Marathon.
