 About Me |
I am dedicated to furthering social and environmental action to protect intergenerational quality of life, with an emphasis on the rights of future generations. It is my personal work to inform, engage, and mobilize youth to become empowered social and environmental activists through their individual creative and cultural expression.
I have a BA in Art and Psychology from Georgetown University, and have studied studio art and painting at several additional universities including the San Francisco Art Institute and Parsons School of Art and Design. I have enjoyed working at grassroots organizations such as Planet Drum www.planetdrum.org, which educates on Bioregionalism and urban sustainability, as well as organizing art shows and various events.
In January I will begin Teachers College at Columbia University, with the hope to launch a career of elementary education that integrates creative expression in to academic learning as well as integrating leadership learning and project implementation in to elementary education.
