John Tumwebaze,
Action to Support Orphans and Disadvantaged (ASOD) Uganda started in 2004 May, as a grassroots charity. On the 26th July 2005 the organization was officially mandate by the laws of Uganda to be a local non-government organization (NGO) working within slum areas of Kampala, with it’s head office at Kamwokya-Kampala. The mission of ASOD is to make substantial contribution towards the fight against HIV/AIDS and improve health status of the disadvantaged community, through interventions in three integrated sectors of education, health and HIV/AIDS. Thus build human capacity and create synergy between sectors.It also adopted an online volunteers that help us out in various capacities.
