 About Me |
After finishing a degree in biology, and discovering that severe cases of seasickness made my dream of studying sharks unlikely I worked for a few years teaching outdoor sports. Here I learned how to kayak, canoe, and cross country ski. I also got to spend most of my time outdoors. From there I decided that I wanted to continue my education and completed a Masters in Environmental Education and Communication. After a couple more years working for different environmental groups I decided to apply for my Ph.D. This is where I am now, while doing my school full time I am also working for Environment at the City of Edmonton. I do school programs and work with the public on topics like climate change.
