 About Me |
Basically I see myself as a simple person who discovered himself at a rather early age.
I have a passion to build things, to create, to solve problems. I've always been a science buff and I loved everything science from aeronautics to marine life. I never missed documentaries whenever I had the opportunity to watch them. I tried my hands at everything I could. Rockets - yeah I remember when I was in secondary school how I went to my chemistry teacher to request for Potassium Nitrate, Carbon and Sulphur so I could build rocket fuel. I tried building a rocket but I failed because I did not know how to combine them in their right proportions.
I kept animals - toads, caterpillars, birds, snails, name them. I loved to study how things work.
In my first year at the secondary school, I got exposed to a computer and I was really fascinated with the box. I immediately began to see a world I could explore. I pursued my interest in it, which later became a passion. I remember how I use to spend my breaks at the computer center discussing with the computer operators and trying out my hands at some programs I was writing at home then. Ever since then, I knew it was going to be computers for me.
Then people called me all kinds of names because of my passion for computers. It's often said where you would find a computer, you would find Tim :) Until this very moment, computers still fascinate me. It's my passion and I always derive satisfaction and fulfilment in creating solutions.
I got into web development last year and since then, I'm been involved with web application development. Some of the projects I have done include my company's web site (http://www.eldoradocomm.com), Cowblock.NET (http://www.cowblock.net), Damico Tutors (http://damicotutors.cjb.net/) - a site I developed for a private home tutor organization to enable their students check their results online and ChoiceSMS (http://www.choicesms.com) a web2sms site that enables you to send text messages from your computer to mobile phones all over the world (covering over 500 networks). People often call me an Internet guru because of my knowledge of how the Internet works and how to make use of the technologies of the Internet.
I believe all things are possible and I strive to excellence everyday. I have a dream to become one of the world's best web application developers.
