About Me

Born in year 1983 of a Malawain father Faison Chikodzera and Naome Chiroodza daugther of Chief Chiroodza of Domboshava. Grew up and lived in Zimbabwe-Bulawayo where he attended Milton High School and after that pursued a degree In Mass Communication & Journalism.

He was employed as a Television presenter by the Zimbabwe Broadcasting Corporation in the year 2002February for Teen-Scene. Later that year he was elavated to Editor for Dramas and Talk Shows on Z.T.V[Zimbabwe's only T.V channel] where he worked along side the likes of Raisedon Baya [Renowned Director and Script/Play Writer and Lawrence Thodlana. Some of his productions won awards in the 2003 N.A.M.A's.
He also had much succes with his musical [Rap] group the Hamadryads who used intricate word play and rocketed to the top of the charts with their single 'PaMicrophone'.

In 2004 he was employed as an Assistant Producer to his own Television programme "The Bass-Ment" a magazine youth oriented programme.
Later on that year he moved to Malawi, where he worked as a Radio Dj and producer at Power 101fm. After brief stint in Malawi he headed back to Zimbabwe and released a Album duet with Oscar Utete. The first single was called "Chic Lyke".
The second season of his Television show was abruptly ended/stopped under unclear circumstances..........
His music video production company improved the quality of music in Zimbabwe.He was arguably the best radio show host/dj on Spot fm.Quite popular amongst the youth - hence he was the ideal candidate to promote the youth Aids awareness campaign through the "Urban Grooves Artist Against Aids Bash". The campaigns had much succes, as the 2006 Artists Against Aids Bash held at Gifford High Grounds had a record breaking 25 000+ youth at the high school grounds.With the show live on ZTV1 it is assumed 83.2% of the country was glued into Valentine Chikodzera's energimatic charm...
