 About Me |
I am recent university graduate in development studies. I have been involved in HIV AIDS work as an intern under Southern Africa HIV/AIDS Information Dissermination Service. the opportunity enabled me to grasp an understanding of HIV and AIDS issues in the region. worrk involved gender mainstreaming into HIV/AIDS programmes, development of workplace policies and programmes as well as advocacy on topical issues relating tro treatment and care. I am also involve in advocacy activities through the Zimbabwe Activists Against AIDS, which is a national network of activists. Advocacy, throough my experience, has drawn upon the need for effective, ethical and sustainable responses to the epidemic.As a university student I have also had the opportunity to research on HIV treatment preparedness. Currently I am involved in the HIV and AIDS programme work as part of Development data consutancy.
