About Me

My name is TALATU JABABI. I hail from Kafin-Koro in Paikoro Local Government Area of Niger State. I am 31 years Old, born on 25th September, 1976. I attended Central Primary School Kafin-Koro from 1980 – 1986 where I obtained my first school-leaving certificate. I then proceeded to Government Girl’s Secondary, Kafin-Koro from 1987 – 1992 where I obtained SSCE/WASC O/L. I obtained my Bachelor of Science Degree with a Second Class Honours Upper Division (21) in Computer Science from Usman Danfodio University, Sokoto (1996 – 2000). I also have a Masters Degree in Business Administration (MBA) at the University of Abuja (2004-2006).

My early life was a triangular one, revolving round home, school & church & that influenced me in the way I see life. Coming from a humble background and having sound Christian doctrine impacted on me early in life, I was taught to give & to love unconditionally & that has to a greater extent influence the kind of activities I do embark on to date.During my National Youth Service Corp (NYSC) Service year I visited Dawaki Village in Bwari Area Council and discovered that no school existed in the area. I then took it upon myself and constructed a two (2) classroom block, headmaster’s office and a store as part of my community development. The commissioning of the school was done on 2nd December, 2002 by the Director General, National Youth Service Corp (NYSC) Brig. Gen.Walter Oki (rtd).
I also participated in the campaign against examination malpractice and cultism in the higher institutions of learning in Nigeria and HIV/AIDS awareness action.
For this development I was given an award by the Minister of FCT Engr.Abba Gana and also conferred with a chieftaincy title by the Dawaki Community.
There has been an unprecedented increase in the number of pupils seeking admissions into the school, for this reason effort was made to see to additional construction of classroom to commodate the growing number. we have presently over 600 pupils enrolled in the school.
