 About Me |
I'm an undergraduate student at UBC completing a degree in Cognitive Systems with a minor in International Relations.
I'm interested in learning about other cultures and finding the balance between promoting and defending human rights and respecting cultural values.
I hope to become a physician one day because it's a skill that is universally applicable, and because the Hippocratic Oath embodies many of what I view as important values, not only for physicians, but for a human being.
If I can, and if there should still be a need when I'm qualified, I would like to work with Doctors Without Borders one day. I believe in the neutrality and necessity of humanitarianism.
I love to travel, learn and experience, but due to a limited budget my travels are restricted. I'd love to hear from people from different parts of the world!
