 About Me |
I was born in Mombasa and raised in Nairobi. I attended schools both in Nairobi and Mombasa and finished my primary schooling at a school in Mombasa.
My High school years were at Starehe Boys Centre and it was from there that i began my first steps into advocacy when i joined the Kenya Childrens Cabinet as it was then called. During this time i also liased with the Kenya Human Rights Commission.
I have worked also worked in the private sector as a magazine writer at Teenwise media Ltd the publishers of Kenya's first teen magazine the Insyder magazine. I was also the magazines PR manager and events coordinator. I've also worked for CentreStage Marketing an event managment firm as PR manager and Assistant event manager.
Recently I have worked as the Head of Quantitative Research and Strategy in the Nairobi office of the South African based youth research and Marketing company Youth Dynamix.
At the moment I am working to develop understanding & strategies that promote and enhance youth participation and information in all matters pertinent to Kenyan youth and hence encourage their involvement.
