 About Me |
I was born in Mombasa and raised in Nairobi. I attended schools both in Nairobi and Mombasa and finished my primary schooling at a school in Mombasa.
My High school years were at Starehe Boys Centre and it was from there that i began my first steps into advocacy when i joined the Kenya Childrens Cabinet as it was then called. During this time i also liased with the Kenya Human Rights Commission.
I have worked also worked in the private sector as a magazine writer at Teenwise media Ltd the publishers of Kenya's first teen magazine the Insyder magazine. I was also the magazines PR manager and events coordinator. I've also worked for CentreStage Marketing an event managment firm as PR manager and Assistant event manager.
Recently I have worked as the Head of Quantitative Research and Strategy in the Nairobi office of the South African based youth research and Marketing company Youth Dynamix.
Currently am the Vice Chairperson of Kenya Young Greens a Kenyan Youth Organisation working in four programme areas i.e. Ecological Sustainability, Millennium Development Goals Participatory Governance and Democracy and Peace and Non Violence
