About me
I served for two years as the Student Government president for the University of Belize and sat on the Board of trustees at my university. Worked with many young people in the area of performing arts and volunteer at the YWCA, Children's Home, Home for the Elderly and at the hospital with cases of teenage pregnancy and child abuse and neglect. Recently completed my second internship at the national Committee for Families and Children where I worked on developing a handbook for parents/guardian who come in contact with the child welfare system. I have a strong passion for youth devlopment and I am very committed to increase youth participation in my country Belize. I am very interested in the world of international relations and diplomacy and hope to one day work in this area focusing on bringing together young people from around the world and finding ways to help fight many problems faced by young people. My hobbies include performing arts, basketball, track & field, detective novels and coummunity base activities. I am always ready to learn more about youth programs in other countries and how we can work together.
