Each day when I wake up, first and foremost I acknowledge my overwhelming gratitude for living life as a healthy, happy, conscious being. This is supposed to be a HUMAN RIGHT, but instead it feels like a PRIVILEDGE considering how uneven the distribution of wealth and power is in this world. I like to do whatever I can - by any means necessary - to help educate and raise the level of conscious awareness in my fellow brothers and sisters across all cultures and all belief systems.
I started the Mana Collective with a few friends, in hopes that we could raise issues...give cause for concern...in a postiive way, at the same time developing and demonstrating the role of art and music in social change.
Now I am working with several groups - The Kingdom of Hawaii, the Sweet Mother Tour, etc. - using my skills as a trained TV documentarian to spread the word and educate through public television outlets across the country, and through internet sites like www.current.tv.
The issues are dire, the time is now. I take every step and make decisions according to my belief that our ancestors have left us with a legacy that needs to be respected and upheld. We owe it to them to protect this legacy: the precious gift of life on this planet...whether human, animal, or plant.
