 About Me |
I Speak for the bush, you speak for who? - a rural upbringing till joining university in mid-90s, I consider myself a rural guy. Born of Maasai parents, I have a strong attachment to my community and their cultural traditions. I recently graduated from 'moran' to 'olpayian' - youth to adult in my Maasai community.
My educational background is in public health with a bias in health communication. I love and adore working with my fellow youth; who else can I work with?
Socially, I love traveling and doing safari visits to the many national parks in Kenya. My parental home is next to one of them and I have grown up with the wild life; mixing with them while looking after my parents cows, goats and sheep.
I love reading especially satire including Sue Townsend and Imogen Edwards-Jones, travel books, journalist experiences including the likes of Linda Polman and David Reiff. Movies are not spared either except horror.
