It has been a long road and a lot of battles within myself. Suddenly it just hit me, is not, why?, but, what for? What is that, that i was meant to do. I'm still in the search for that answer. I was born in Mexico, I came to the States 8 years ago with a backpack filled with dreams. With the image in my mind of that man i wanted to become. I made, a few mistakes. But, i don't regret them, because that's what made the man I am today. I discover, a strength I didn't know i had. This illness made me appreciate life more than ever. It made me smile and enjoy the simple little things. It brought me closer to my family. I'm 26 years old, I feel complete and happier than ever. Now, i feel is time to help others, to get there. As, I wrote before it has been a lonely and long road. But, it don't matter how dark the road is, there's always a bright light at the end. That light lives within ourselves and is just waiting to come out and make us live, love and enjoy what we have.
