About Me |
I'm a writer. I graduated from Lewis and Clark College in Portland, Oregon in 2005 and have since held a rather staggering number of different positions paying from $0/hr to enough to get by. These included teaching Oregon history to kids by portraying a French/Native-American woman based on real historical character, helping on a radio documentary about the Lewis and Clark expedition, anchoring the news at Portland's community radio station (KBOO), and, most recently, working as a bonafide reporter at the Sonoma Index-Tribune, my hometown newspaper. I get to chat up people all day long, learn and write about all sorts of interesting things and I've come to know my town in a whole new way. I just spent the last two months bopping around New Zealand and having a grand old time. Now I´m in Mexico City, trying to rustle up some work.
