Sindi is 28 years old young woman living with HIV from Indonesia, she is representative for JOTHI (Network of People Living with HIV in Indonesia) as CRP Member for Southeast Asia and Pacific. She is now a National Coordinator for ITPC Indonesia which working closely for Universal Access in HIV Treatment and essential medicine. Previously, Sindi working with JOTHI as Relation and Mobilization Staff and now she is become one of JOTHI’s Consultant in supporting of JOTHI’s activism. In the past when she was working with JOTHI, she successfully mobilize the mass to do the protest againts EU – India in Indonesia on 2nd March which is performed simultaneously with massive demonstrations in India as an act of solidarity to support the PLHIV throughout the world for the availability of ARVs regarding of IP Provision of essential medicine. The demontration was coverage by many media from national and international. With ITPC Indonesia she also do the campaign for HCV – HIV Coinfection and on World Hepatitis Day, she organize public discussion related of this issue. In support her activism in HIV treatment now she become the secretary of Monitoring and Evaluation Team for Supply Chain and Management ARV in AIDS Sub Diretorate Indonesia Ministry of Health to implement the GIPA principle related the needs of PLHIV in Indonesia to achieve better treatment. She is trusted to be JOTHI’s – LTA Campaign Coordinator for Indonesia in cooperation with Worlds AIDS Campaign. Mostly in involvement to AIDS responses in Indonesia, Sindi do self research to update the AIDS Indonesia Situations and writing it as Fact Sheet or News.
