 About Me |
Shobana is now pursuing a degree in Accounting at Multimedia University Malaysia. She
graduated from high school at the top 5% of her class and as the most active female student in extra-curricular activities.
Shobana’s achievements include being named first runner-up at the 2008 Malaysian Lego
League Robotics Competition; representing TakingITGlobal.org at the 2009 South East Asian Youth Engagement; representing Malaysia at the One Young World Summit in London in February 2010, and being selected to attend the 2010 Clinton Global Initiative University Meeting.
Shobana is a founding and active member of ‘Children Behind Us’ - a project aiming
to improve an education in the rural areas in Indonesia and Malaysia. Most recently she acted as a student mentor during the 6th Asia Pacific Regional Innovative Education Forum.
She has been elected Global Teen Leader for the year 2011 by the We are Family Foundation.
