Namaste!
I am Shiva, 20,I have completed Bachelor in Public Health from Institute of medicine (IOM,Kathmandu,Nepal.Since my childhood, i always dreamed of becoming health worker and advocating for health rights of people.Now, i think that i am pursuing my aim.

I am multilingual in Nepali,Hindi,English, Spanish and French, i have worked with different people from multiethnic and multicultural environment.I have traveled more than 20 districts of Nepal.Now i am currently working in a NGO for HIV prevention,care and support in Tanahun district,120 kilometers southwest from capital of Nepal.The good part of job is to carry out awareness and sensitization activities for stigma and discrimination against HIV/AIDS,STIs and misconception regarding family planning in community,coordinate and manage the counselling,care and support services for people at risk of HIV,those living with HIV/AIDS.

I have faith in people's Health Movement.I am currently working as a focal point incharge for People's Health Movement Nepal Students Circle (PHM-NSC),an student activist coalition for PHM in Nepal.I participated in third people's health assembly (PHA3)6-11 July 2012 in Capetown,South Africa.Now i am energized, feeling confident to take active participation in PHM in Nepal.

I want to see people educated, empowered and healthy. For achieving these i want to work for people,with people.I believe in advocacy & activism “Never be afraid to raise your voice for honesty and truth and compassion against injustice and lying and greed”.
