À propos de moi

I am Shivangini Sawhney, i'm from India,
Delhi, I am currently working in the UNDP, as the project assistant on a project on Prevention of trafficking, HIV and AIDS in women and children in India. Before this i was the assistant researcher at a USAID project called SARI/EQUITY, which conducted a good practices study on safe migration, trafficking in women and children, care and support etc. I have earlier interned with the ILO, in their International Programme on Elimination of Child Labour, on a child trafficking project. I was also invited to the International Aids Conference held last year in Thailand, as an Indian Youth Delegate to speak on a panel in 'young women & HIV' sesion and presented a paper on child trafficking and HIV. I also presented a paper "child trafficking for commercial sexual exploitation - by the people, for the people, of the people" at The World Youth Peace Summit - Asia pacific held last year in February in Bangkok, Thailand and i am also there official delegate.
