Over Mij

I have been working with young people for 7 years now and I've learnt that implementation of programs and activities in developing countries needs self-motivation, updating and capacity building from global and regional views. And this is to overcome the obstacles, but despite of these obstacles that I face as female is here I had the ability to run many programs targeting young people such as: 1- shared on an advocacy campaign which is the Global Youth Partners UNFPA Youth led supportive initiative for the establishment of 5 Anti-AIDS Clubs in Mansoura governorate through ensuring political commitment with ministry of education and the national AIDS program, financial commitment with UNIFEM and Media advocacy in the annual UNAIDS media campaign, and I have been elected to be GYP-Egypt Representative 2006-2007 , through GYP I transmitted my experience to many young people through several trainings either local or regional.
That is why I always need to learn more about the global view to apply it to my local and regional community through the conferences and workshops I share in, also I am the founder and coordinator of the “women rights within CEDAW” project which target the young people in 7 different governorates in Egypt, through which I designed a manual using interactive learning and multimedia tools targeting young people in the rural areas.
also i have been selected to be Dance4Life Egypt HIV/AIDS officer, through Dance4Life mission which is to motivate and involve young people to promote an attractive healthy life style in a way that reflects group work dynamics and guarantees youth awareness and exposure within a frame of networking so that groups of socially responsible confident youth serving as agents of change and advocacy are created to help realizing the M.D.G.s,we had our first D4L school project life skills program summer camp July 2007,targeting 25 schools of the Dance4Life Egypt Schools Network.
and it was amazing to touch such motivation among the students ....
