Hi Friends! I am a Liberian and the Executive Director of South Eastern Health Management Consortium (SEHMACON) - a health management agency established in 2005 in order to assist the Ministry of Health reach out to inaccessible areas in the country. Our interest incluude among other things primary healthcare for children because the fourteen-year-old civil cinflict greatly devastated the sector - a Roll Back Malaria National Desk Analysis on Liberia in 2001 revealed that under five mortality rate is 194 per thousand births and infant mortality rate is 117 per thousand births. This is a clear indication that indeed the kids in this country are at risk. The fight has begun from our end and we are soliciting inspiring ideas and contribution from friends all over the world to help us in this fight. With your help we can make this world a habitable for our children and their children's children.
