About Me |

My name is Sean Amos and I'm actually an IT professional with diverse experience in other sectors too. I have learnt lots of vital information on what ought to be done to make sure we make our communities better for all and to help all those in need. I'm also a firm believer in youths as agents of changebut from what i see, the youths have been short changed by the "old guard".

From way back, we were made to understand that we were "Leaders of Tomorrow", so many years down the line, we are waiting to be given the mantle and lead, talk of double talk.
I have been involved in various youth activities, namely forums, clean-ups, charity activities and many others...i have been an active member of TakingITGlobal, and have represented it in various conferences/forums, most recently, "WEB4DEV at UNHABITAT" in Nairobi,Kenya where TakingITGlobal was placed to do a workshop on "My Space for Social Good", TIG being the case study i.e using IT to connect the youth on development matters.
Am a member of different societies, among them; Rotaract Club Nairobi Central (RCNC), Institute of Management of Information Systems-UK, One Stop Youth Information and Resource Centre, ABC4AllGlobal Mentoring Team(The co-founder), World Scout Movement(My employer).
I am a firm believer in "train smarter not harder". Don't get me wrong, there is a time and place to train hard but consistency in your training is the number one ingredient to reaching your goals. - I am a firm believer in the people. If given the truth, they can be depended upon to meet any national crises. The great point is to bring them the real facts.
- Abraham Lincoln
16th president of US (1809 - 1865)
