Prior to this, he attended Karingal Park Secondary College where he was Senior Student and President of the Student Leadership Council (SLC) Through his position on the SLC he met Amey Lee through COMP - The Frankston and Mornington Peninsula Student Leadership Network, became one of the co-founders of what is now known as Footprints Forever Incorporated and for five years held the position of Secretary. In November, 2002, Scott resigned from the management committee of Footprints Forever Inc, seeking a new and exciting challenge. What that challenge is however is still to be determined... In the meantime, he has undertaken the task of co-directing this years Education Faculty Musical, assisting Frankston Youth Resource Centre, with the planning of National Youth Week, undertaking a basic course in AUSLAN (Australian Sign Language) and hopes to become more involved in consultations with SkillsPlus's relating to providing quality education. Scott continues to be a member of the Community Safety Management Team operating within Frankston City Council, providing a young people's perspective on matters relating community safety. He has been the recipient of numerous awards for community service including the 2000 Australia Day Council Young Citizen of the Year award for Frankston City and more recently the Centenary Medal. Living at home with his mum, dad and younger brother, Scott also works part time as a shift manager at McDonald's and also as an After-School Care Assistant.
