About Me

Hi,

I have worked in the consulting industry as an environmental engineer since 2003. After being fortunate enough to win the 2001 Manitoba Round Table for Sustainable Development Scholarship for my graduate research on composting at the University of Manitoba, I was awarded a one year membership at the International Institute for Sustainable Development based in Winnipeg, Canada. I also joined TakingITGlobal in 2001.

Through my university studies and research I gained an appreciation for the merits of environmental sustainability. Since then, I have tried to carry forward the ideals and spirit of environmental sustainability and have endeavored to be a steward of the environment to the best of my ability, whether it is related to contaminated site cleanups, solid waste management, environmental planning for industry (mining, etc), or simply thinking "green", both at work and at home. I truly believe that we all have a resposibility to consistently realize the global effects of our actions.
