Hello! I was born and raised in Billings, Montana, and went to university in Spokane, Washington (I have a degree in special education). I am currently a Peace Corps volunteer in Bacau, Romania. I work with an organization called Asociatia Lumina Hospice Casa Albert; Hospice Casa Albert offers palliative care to children with any kind of life-limiting illness and to people of all ages with HIV/AIDS. Hospice Casa Albert also offers a support group for people with HIV/AIDS and holds school campaigns about HIV/AIDS. In addition to working with Hospice Casa Albert, last February another volunteer and I conducted a peer-to-peer HIV/AIDS training program for young people with funds from PEPFAR and USAID. I have greatly enjoyed my time in Romania thus far and have learned so much.
