 About Me |
My name is Sara Hassan and I joined the TakingITGlobal team in June 2011. I'm currently working on program outreach and partnership development for TIGed (www.tigweb.org/tiged) and coordinating an environmental education program called DeforestACTION (dfa.tigweb.org).
A little about me:
My family is from Pakistan but immigrated to Canada in the early 1980s. I have a BA from York University in International Development Studies and an MA from McMaster University in Globalization Studies with a focus on Global Citizenship and Global Education. I have a bit of a travel bug; I lived for two-years in Switzerland and have worked with community development projects in Guyana, Honduras and Tanzania.
