About Me

Hello everyone!My name ’s Pheng Saochheng was born in poor family with five siblings in Kandal Province, Kingdom of Cambodia. When I was young, I faced many challenges, obstacles and difficulties with my studies and family, to solve this problems I had initiative perspective and mechanism is ‘‘Life is struggle’’. Currently, he works as Program Coordinator and Director Assistant at Mith Samlanh/Friends and a Founder of Youth Initiative for Technology, I have been actively engaged in the development sector predominately as a Provincial Representative at Youth Council of Cambodia(YCC), a member in Technical working group at HIV/AIDS Coordinating Committee(HACC) , got a ward to participate the Asia Pacific Conference on Reproductive and Sexual Health and Right (APCRSHR) in Beijing, China and The 7th Asian Youth Forum in Manila, Philippine. a participant in the 2nd UNESCO Asian Youth Forum in Gwangju, Republic of Korea on‘‘ Sustainable Community in Asia’’ and a member in Cambodia Research Group which has closed collaboration with Royal University of Phnom Penh, Paññāsāstra University Of Cambodia, Chiang Mai University (Thailand), VU University Amsterdam and Radboud University Nijmegen (Netherlands) , a contestant in Youth Leadership Challenge Program (YLC),organized by USAID,IRI and ANZ Royal, Program Coordinator assistant in Professor Alliance for Development (PAD), Kandal Provincial Representative Assistant, a Translator/Facilitator at World Vision-Cambodia, a part-time Teacher of English at Oxford International School and graduated Bachelor of English Literature in the field of Arts, Humanities and Foreign Language(TEFL) at Asia Euro University (AEU) in 2007 and initiator of English Training Club in Poor Community which supported by H.E. ING Khuntha Phavy, Ministry of Women’s and Veterans Affairs.
