 About Me |
I am Samson Ngunjiri, a Kenyan citizen obsessed with 'clean technological advancement'. My early chilhood years witnessed mass logging in my home area where residents then lauded it since they needed land to cultivate. They got the land but amazingly, after 15 years they are crying foul over a changed climate pattern. I now realize what they enjoyed then has cost their cry today and hence the need to live with their self-implicated menace. As a member of this community I look forward to finding a lasting solution to this problem which ultimately starts with defining the actual problem which is the individual! Thus changing this individual's mentality will actually have an impact on the way he works.I am in my mid 20s investing my resources towards a clean,safe environment. Educating my peers and other social groupings is my target. My actual drive comes from the collated statistics from reputable institutions such as Friends of the Earth, the Green Belt Movement, UN Habitat, UNEP, WFP among others over the environment and its impact of life on the globe today. I find it the easiest way to start tackling this menace from the grassroot level upwards. People who produce goods and services should be enlightened enough to ensure they meet specified quality standards to start enjoying the fruit of their labour and keep their environment clean. I have committed myself to initiate 'My Environment - My Life' campaign through education, awareness campaigns, entertainment and partnership with all interested parties to make this initiative a success in this country and eventual global impact.
