What do you get when you mix love for people and love for travel? One Big Adventure and a passion for humanitarian causes!
I run my own social planning consultancy business, based in Queensland, Australia. What is a social planner? Do social planners plan BBQs and social functions? Unfortunately "No". Social planning is an organised process of planning and responding to the needs and aspirations of people and communities. It is a people-centred approach to planning.
In 2004, I worked as an intern with the United Nations Development Programme in Samoa, assisting the Resident Coordinator Advisor to develop a joint UN youth program.
In my spare time, I get involved in Youth for a Sustainable Future Pacifika (YSFP) as an executive director. I co-founded YSFP back in 2003. YSFP is a premier on-line resource netowk that empoers young Pacific Islanders and their communities to collectively achieve the Millennium Development Goals.
