About Me

Ryan is a school teacher working in the Vancouver area. His interests include environmental sustainability, poverty, and structures of urban and suburban society.

Ryan also works as a Curriculum Coordinator with the Pearson Seminar on Youth Leadership (www.psyl.ca) based out of Victoria, B.C., Canada,

In the past, he has been an active member of the World University Service of Canada, with whom he completed a two month HIV/AIDS related Seminar in Botswana. His past participation also includes work with Working to Empower (www.workingtoempower.org), and in 2006 he presented at the World AIDS Conference in Toronto. Ryan currently sits on the Board of Directors of Check Your Head (www.checkyourhead.org), a Vancouver based education non-profit based out of Vancouver.
