My Name is Ruba Hamdan,
i was born at 16/5/1986 in a city called Lydda- Located inside the green line.
From a very young age i remember that the thing i liked the most was to be surrounded with Papers, Colors and "Rubbish", i used to prepare my own little "Studio", in the middle of my small room and just create something out of nothing...
This is how my love to Art and to drawing began to grow and without knowing it, as soon as i grew up i discovered that Art is an unseperated element that brought me to who i am today.
In this terrible Cheos that we are living, in a very unstable Political and Social situation, Drawing is my only way to "escape" from this situation, its a kind of a healing for me, and surprisingly although i try to run away from it, in most of my drawings you can notice my feelings and my prespectives to the palestinian struggle...
Despite my love to Art, i am also a Media Student, im very interested in Journalism and in Film making, and my Ambition is to find a way in the future to combain my Art with Media.
Im also a Young activist, im working in a Youth Organazation called "Baladna"- its aim is to promote Palestinian youth inside the green line territiory.
