About Me   About Me
Hi Everyone!

I have been selected by the Youth Challenge International to take part in a 10 week volunteer project in Costa Rica!

The small group and volunteers and I will be working with will be supporting the local people on community based projects. We will be living without the benefits of traditional support networks or the comforts we all know from living here in Toronto. Previous YCI projects involved building aqueducts, ranger huts, health posts schools, trails, lookouts, and visitor centers.

I learned of the YCI and the Costa Rica project over 4 years ago and have always been intrigued with the idea of volunteering. I always wondered how it is to live in a non developed country with little to no electronics. I wanted to experience their life, and have the opportunity to take part in their community. And now my dream has finally come true, I will be leaving on May 17th 2008.

I have always been proactive person. I have a lot of ambition, I always want to experience new things, and I love being spontaneous. Many people who know me consider me very easy going but very serious when it comes to a job. I have always strived to be the best for my team and always supportive my my teammates.

I completed college in 2007 where I studied Digital Media Arts at Seneca College. While I attended Seneca I specialized in video post production and also learned website development. I am looking forward to start my career but before I do, I must give as much back as I can to the world we live in.
