معلومات عنّي

My name is Richlue O’ Burphy, I was born in Monrovia. I am a graduate of the Buduburam Refugee Community School and became a classroom teacher at the Faith Foundation Academy (teaching Religions Knowledge and Environmental Studies) whilst serving at the same time as the English Teacher at the Dominion Christian Academy. I am the Director and Trainer of the DOMICA Press Club. At the moment, I am a candidate for admission into the Ghana Institute of Journalism to pursue a B.A. in Communication Studies. I am serving as the President of the RESPECT Intellectual Club. Before coming to RESPECT, I served as president for the youth department in my church for 3 years running before becoming one of the youth coordinators; a position I am also presently holding. I also served the Buduburam Students Movement as President. In the One Dream to Awaken the Youth (ONE DAY), I am serving as a General Secretary. I have won so many awards including the 2007 Youth Ambassador award of the Liberian Students Union in Ghana, 2006 Youth Ambassador award of CHRIDA Youth, 2006 Academic Hero award of the Friendship Under Brotherly Union (FUBU), 2006 Intellectual of the Year award of RESPECT Ghana, 2006 Youth of the Year award of FUBU, 2004 Academic Excellence award of the Buduburam Refugee Community School. I am a brother to 5 sisters and I act as a mentor to many young people in Buduburam. I love the gathering of young people and I am very ambitious. I have a lot of leadership skills and other skills.
